Steep colorful roofs are in high fashion in Tanzanian house designs to reduce the effects of the sun heating or simply to have the tallest house in the neighborhood. This stunning house plan has all the common areas in the front and the bedrooms more privately placed in the back.

The entrance verandah leads you into a passage with a spacious sunken living room on the left side and access to the semi-closed kitchen and dining on the right side. The kitchen has a pantry and a verandah.

A short corridor with built-in cupboards, for extra storage, takes you from the main passage to the back of the house where you find 3 ensuite bedrooms and the guest toilet. The master bedroom is bigger than the other 2 bedrooms and also has a walk-in closet.
